Seasickness
Seasickness, in one form or another, is a possibility for anyone on any trip. If you have never been to sea, it is advisable to take a precautionary motion sickness medication two to four hours before the scheduled departure. There are many oral medications available over the counter, "patches" available by prescription only, and "non-medicinal" deterants such as pressure wrist bands. All have some affect on your system. Some products are more effective for some people than for others.
It is best you DO NOT come aboard if you know from prior experience you will be ill. You will only inflict your discomfort on your fellow passengers. However, becoming unexpectedly ill as a result of seasickness should not be a cause for embarassment. It can happen to anyone.
