Weather

We cannot control the weather and the weather exerts a vast control over sea conditions the day of your trip. Winds and severe storms at sea pose the greatest threat to your plans for a good day. Ground swells, at a reasonable interval, pose little or no problem. Fishing at anchor in any water has the potential to make walking a chore. Anything over a light chop has an impact on the stability of the vessel at anchor as well as your comfort during travel to and from the day's destination.

Storms arriving from the land are generally easier to ride out and, unless they are accompanied by severe lightening, pose only the threat of getting wet. Bring compact foul weather gear if you suspect there will be a storm the day of your trip.

THE CAPTAIN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE TRIP DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS.
